Dated...

I find that when I am reading books now...I often take a look at the copywright date. Because times, especially technology, has changed so much in the past 10 years...I need to set the right time frame. I'll be reading a thriller and will ask...why don't you just use your cell phone! well, because they didn't exist.

Just an observation.

I enjoyed Into The Wild. I like Jon Krakauer's writing (I read his book about his Everest trip and have another of his in my TBR pile). I will recommend it- the story moves quickly and it's well written.

I haven't seen the movie yet, but would like to.

I liked the adaptation in the film. The book really fascinated me.
