Well, its official. only 356 more days of the Bush Era....next year at this time we will be talking about another president's first address to the nation.

Basically, I think nothing significant will happen policy-wise in the next year. Bush vows to veto anything that requires increased taxes (where have we heard that before...no new taxes). And besides pissing off the Democrats with huge funding cuts (I wonder what programs will have cuts?), they won't pass any legislation for the Republicans.
Bush really wants to be an active last-year president but all I say is...Lame Ducky.
